Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are assisting El Monte Police Department regarding a shooting death investigation. The incident was reported Saturday, April 20, 2024, at approximately 3:35 a.m., on the 3800 block of Penn Mar Avenue in El Monte.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
