Flood Advisory until 12:30PM

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Fisher, Jones and Nolan.

* WHEN...Until 1230 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1023 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms approaching Interstate 20 from the Taylor County line west to Sweetwater and Roscoe. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding of areas such as low lying city streets and other poor drainage areas. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sweetwater, Roscoe, Nolan, Longworth, Wastella, Champion, Gannon, Busby, and Capitola. - This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 229 and 260. This includes the following Low Water Crossings... IH 20 frontage roads crossing Sweetwater Creek, IH 20 frontage roads crossing Bitter Creek, IH 20 frontage roads crossing Plum Creek, IH 20 frontage roads crossing Towd Creek, FM 2035 crossing Bitter Creek, County Road 143 crossing Idlewild Creek, crossings along County Road 226, County Road 108 crossing Kldoogan Creek, County Road 221 crossing Little Stink Creek and County Road 229 crossing Cottonwood Creek.

* AFFECTED AREAS: FISHER, TX ... JONES, TX ... NOLAN, TX
