1. Robbery/Carjacking (Delayed) 500 Block of West MLK Jr Boulevard, Seaport District
On 4/20/24 at approximately 2330 hours, the victim was walking to her vehicle. The suspects took her property, got into the victim’s vehicle and fled westbound on MLK Blvd. SUSPECTS: Seven Black adult males.
2. Homicide (0933) 600 Block of El Camino Avenue, Bear Creek District
Officers responded to a person shot call and located Victim #1, 19, and Victim #2, 70. Both victims had been shot. Victim #1 was pronounced deceased at the scene. Victim #2 was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives responded for the investigation.
3. Resisting Arrest (1041) 3500 Block of South Manthey Road, Seaport District
An officer was dispatched to a suspicious persons call and contacted the suspect. The suspect was being detained when he pulled away. He was subsequently taken to the ground and detained in handcuffs without further incident. ARRESTED: Romon Penn, 23, for resisting arrest.
