Celebrating National Volunteer Week at the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office
As we commemorate National Volunteer Week, we extend our deepest gratitude to the indispensable volunteers at the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office. Your devotion and diligent efforts not only support our community—it truly inspires us all! A heartfelt thank you to each volunteer who contributes their time, from organizing community events to improving our daily operations. You are truly the cornerstone of our community.
At the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office, volunteerism is woven into the fabric of our public service. Our three main volunteer branches each provide unique and critical support:
- Patrol Volunteers: Assisting in traffic control, community patrols, and public safety events, our patrol volunteers act as our eyes and ears, helping to maintain safety and order in our vibrant community.
- Search and Rescue (SAR) Team: These volunteers tackle everything from wilderness searches to disaster response, ensuring that when someone is in need, help is on the way.
- Chaplains: Offering spiritual support and guidance, our chaplains are a source of comfort and counsel during some of the most challenging times, supporting not only the community but also our staff members in need.
Feeling inspired? Think you have what it takes to make a difference in our community? Join our team of outstanding volunteers and be a part of something bigger. Visit us online at sheriff.calaverasgov.us/Volunteers and calaverassar.org to learn more and get involved.
Together, we can continue to build a safer, more connected Calaveras County. Thank you, volunteers, for everything you do!
