Citywide fire hydrant inventory and inspection continue in southwest portion of the City
Work will be performed Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Customers are advised to minimize water usage during the period of immediate area testing. If discoloration occurs in tap water, run the cold-water faucet for several minutes or until the discoloration clears.

Citywide fire hydrant inventory and inspection continue in southwest portion of the City 
As of April 22, 2024, city contractors have completed the first round of hydrant inventory and inspection and are now moving on to round two.
Contractors will work in the area located south of SR-434, west of Tuskawilla Road, and some areas north of SR-434 between SR-419 and the Winter Springs Town Center.
Signs have been placed at critical points in the area notifying residents of the work being done, and updates will be provided here: https://bit.ly/hydrant-inspections
As part of the process, crews will open hydrants to check flow rates and pressure to ensure each hydrant is cataloged correctly.Work will be performed Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
