INCIDENT: PC 459 – Burglary, VC 10851 – Vehicle Theft, PC 496d(a) – Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, PC 594 – Vandalism, PC 487 – Grand Theft
LOCATION: Roto Rooter Plumbers, 13570 Tonikan Road, Apple Valley
VICTIM(S): Roto Rooter Plumbers
SUSPECT(S): Jesse Palmer, 42-year-old male of Apple Valley
SUMMARY: Deputies from Apple Valley Police Department were dispatched to a burglary on Sunday, April 21, 2024. The president of the business, Roto Rooter Plumbers, received an alarm activation at the business and upon arriving at the business found damage and vehicles missing.
Deputy K. Mullins responded to the business and investigated, while additional deputies began looking for the stolen vehicles. The stolen vehicles were equipped with tracking devices which led deputies to an area off of Joshua Road and State Highway 18. Deputies located the stolen vehicles, along with four subjects. The investigation revealed the suspect, Jesse Palmer – who was located with the stolen vehicle, had entered the yard of the business and drove a dump truck and trailer (with a backhoe on the trailer) through the fence of the business.
Jesse Palmer was arrested for the above listed charges and released. The other three subjects were not involved in the theft of the vehicles. The recovered stolen vehicles were returned to the business representative. The case will be forwarded to Victorville District Attorney’s Office for review and filing of charges.
