April 24, 2024, is a day of recognition to celebrate the work of administrative assistants and other office professionals and their contributions to the workplace.
 
We want to thank our hard-working Sheriff Services Technicians, Correctional Technicians, and Evidence/Crime Scene Technicians who work assiduously to keep the office running smoothly every day. The staff who fill these positions do so with dedication, organization, and attention to detail.Whether in the public eye or behind the scenes, these women and men provide our citizens the highest quality of service.
 
The International Association of Administrative Professionals promotes National Administrative Professionals Day. The observance was first launched in 1952 when U.S. Secretary of Commerce Charles Sawyer proclaimed June National Secretaries Week. In that same year, June 4th was designated National Secretaries Day. The name was changed to Administrative Professionals in 2000, when the day was also added, and the events moved to April.
