Deputy Scott McNurlin successfully completed the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office Field Training Program on April 22nd, 2024. He began his tenure at the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Sheriff recruit on April 22, 2023. After receiving sponsorship through the police academy and graduating on October 31, 2023, he became a Deputy Sheriff Trainee. Throughout this period, he was paired with a field training officer who equipped him with the skills to handle the complex calls he would face as a solo Deputy Sheriff. Now ready to start the next stage of his law enforcement career, Deputy McNurlin will serve in the patrol division. Please join us in welcoming Deputy Scott McNurlin to our team.
