The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce that Deputy Victor Garcia has successfully completed our Field Training Program. Hired in November 2023 as a lateral deputy, Deputy Garcia brought valuable correctional law enforcement experience that enabled him to integrate immediately into our team and meet our community's law enforcement needs.
 
Throughout his field training, Deputy Garcia paired closely with seasoned deputies, improving his skills and preparing himself to handle the calls for service that come our way. His background and training in Calaveras County have prepared him to assume his duties as a solo Deputy Sheriff, committed to serving and safeguarding our community with utmost dedication.
