Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges.
On April 23, at approximately 10:43 a.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 400 block of West 7th Street, when they observed a male subject engaged in drug-related activity. Police made contact with 23-year-old Marquan Berry-Mills, who physically resisted arrest, then was taken into custody without further incident. Police recovered 12.8 grams of crack cocaine, 126.1 grams of marijuana, $762, and drug paraphernalia.
Berry-Mills has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
- Resisting Arrest
- Tampering with Physical Evidence
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $41,000 cash-only bail.
