Miss Byram is a long-standing tradition here in Byram Township that brings awareness to our talented youth as well as our beautiful community nestled in scenic Sussex County.

Once crowned, Miss Byram will not only receive a $500 scholarship, but she will also proudly represent Byram Township at the annual Sussex County Fair.

Also, new this year, the Miss Byram runner up will also receive a scholarship in the amount of $250.

We are proud of this event and the opportunity to have Byram Township represented at the annual Sussex County fair. The award of this title presents the opportunity for Miss Byram to be recognized publicly at other local events and allows her the opportunity to be a role model for future candidates, some of whom may even be a part of a Royalty Court.

Currently, we do not have any candidates registered for the opportunity to be considered for Miss Byram 2024. If we do not receive any applications prior to May 24, 2024, we will have no option other than to cancel the 2024 event locally which would also preclude Byram Township from having representation at the fair.

We are confident that there are many qualified candidates within our community that could represent Byram Township at the highest level, but they may not be aware of this event. Please help us to keep this tradition thriving in Byram Township so that we can highlight our talented youth and community pride in Byram.
