Two Vehicle Injury Crash
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports that on 04/26/2024 at approximately 1220 hours his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash near the intersection of Leet Rd and Beebe Rd, in Howard Township, Cass County Michigan.
Investigation shows that a vehicle driven by David Culp (61 years old from Niles, MI) was traveling south east on Beebe Rd. Anthony Lauricella (74 years old from Niles, MI), failed yield when turning from Leet Rd onto Beebe Rd causing the crash. Culp was transported to Memorial hospital for injuries sustained during the crash. Lauricella was transported to Lakeland Niles hospital for injuries sustained during the crash.
All involved parties wore seatbelts. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor. This crash remains under investigation.
