National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 10am to 2pm. Click Link for information...
On Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 10am to 2pm, the Cranbury Township Police Department is taking part in the 23rd Annual DEA National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. This one-day event will provide residents with no cost anonymous collection of unwanted and expired medicines. Chief Michael J. Owens urges all residents to safely dispose of their unused, unwanted, and expired medication in the safest way possible. Studies continue to show that unused medications in homes create a public health and safety concern, because they can be accidentally ingested, stolen, misused, and abused by children and adults alike.
Please spread the word to your family, friends, and neighbors to clear out their medicine cabinets. Prescription medication in the form of pills, tablets, or capsules, can be disposed of at the Cranbury Township Police Headquarters, located at 1 Logan Drive, Cranbury, NJ 08512 from the hours of 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Medications should be taken out of their original containers and placed into paper/plastic bags once inside headquarters. No liquids, syringes or sharp objects of any type will be accepted.
