Flood Advisory until 11:00PM Friday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Missouri, including the following counties, in south central Missouri, Dent, Howell, Shannon and Texas. In southwest Missouri, Christian, Douglas, Ozark, Stone, Taney and Wright.

* WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 438 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Branson, Mountain Grove, Ava, Forsyth, Houston, Hollister, Licking, Cabool, Norwood, Taneyville, Raymondville, Kissee Mills, Dawson, Table Rock, Theodosia, Kirbyville, Blue Eye, Huggins, Wasola, Vanzant, Drury, Brushyknob, Gentryville, Rockbridge, Squires, Bendavis, Noble, Elk Creek, Simmons, Thornfield, Rome, Goodhope, Solo, Bucyrus, Long Run, Brownbranch, Yukon, Bradleyville, Prescott and Eunice. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
