* Tornado Warning for... Southern Polk County in central Iowa... Northeastern Madison County in south central Iowa... Southeastern Dallas County in central Iowa... Northwestern Warren County in south central Iowa...

* Until 845 PM CDT.

* At 820 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Cumming, or near West Des Moines, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include... Des Moines, West Des Moines, Ankeny, Urbandale, Johnston, Clive, Altoona, Waukee, Norwalk, Pleasant Hill, Grimes, Windsor Heights, Saylorville, Granger, Jordan Creek Town Center, Merle Hay Mall, Iowa Events Center, Iowa State Fairgrounds, Des Moines Int'l Airport, and Principal Park. This includes the following highways... Interstate 35 between mile markers 63 and 72, and between mile markers 87 and 89. Interstate 80 between mile markers 116 and 140. Interstate 235 between mile markers 1 and 14.
