TORNADO WARNING IN EFFECT FOR CENTER CARTER COUNTY UNTIL 10:30 PM 4/27/2024.

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Southeastern Carter County in southern Oklahoma...
Southwestern Murray County in southern Oklahoma...
* Until 1030 PM CDT.
* At 944 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Lone Grove, moving north at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
damage is likely.
* Locations impacted include...
Ardmore, Sulphur, Davis, Lone Grove, Springer, Dougherty, Lake Of
The Arbuckles, Turner Falls, and Overbrook.
This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 25 and 56.

Instructions:

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a storm shelter, safe room or an interior
room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you
are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest
substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
