Homicide on Ivy Street in Escondido
 
ESCONDIDO – On Saturday, April 27th, at 9:08 PM, Escondido Police Dispatch received a 911 call regarding a stabbing in the 1000 block of North Ivy Street in Escondido.       
 
Officers arrived and located two males suffering from stab wounds.  Escondido Fire Paramedics transported one victim to Palomar Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.  The second victim was transported to Sharp Hospital, where he is currently in stable condition. 
 
Officers on the scene learned that a large group of males were seen fighting in the middle of the street and then fled the area before police arrived.  There suspects are unknown at this time, and there is no one in custody.

Homicidio en la Calle Ivy en Escondido
 
ESCONDIDO – El sábado 27 de abril, a las 9:08 a.m., la central de la policía de Escondido recibió una llamada al 911 informando sobre una apuñalada en la cuadra 1000 de North Ivy Street en Escondido.
 
Los oficiales llegaron y encontraron a dos hombres con heridas de arma blanca. Los paramédicos de Escondido Fire trasladaron a una víctima al Hospital Palomar, donde luego fue declarada fallecida. La segunda víctima fue llevada al Hospital Sharp, donde actualmente se encuentra en condición estable.
 
Los oficiales en el lugar supieron que un grupo grande de hombres fue visto peleando en medio de la calle y luego huyeron del área antes de que llegara la policía. Los sospechosos son desconocidos en este momento y no hay nadie bajo custodia.
 
Los detectives de la Policía de Escondido están investigando la posibilidad de que este incidente esté relacionado con pandillas.
