* Flash Flood Warning for... Northern Johnson County in north central Texas... Southeastern Parker County in north central Texas... Southern Tarrant County in north central Texas...

* Until 730 AM CDT.

* At 428 AM CDT, the Texas Department of Transportation reported high water over roads south of Highway 820 in southern Tarrant County. Flash flooding is already occurring or is about to occur. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Public reported. IMPACT...Flooding of urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Fort Worth, Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Euless, Haltom City, Burleson, Benbrook, White Settlement, Crowley, Forest Hill, Richland Hills, Kennedale, Everman, Joshua, Rendon, Edgecliff Village, Aledo and Westworth Village. This includes the following highways... Interstate 35W between mile markers 32 and 52. Interstate 20 between mile markers 421 and 453. Interstate 30 between mile markers 1 and 31.

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding! Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
