Driver Killed in Single Vehicle Collision 
On April 27, 2024, at approximately 5:30 am, Arroyo Grande Police officers responded to the 1400 block of E. Grand Ave. for a single vehicle collision.
Officers arrived on scene and located a single male driver who was unconscious and without a pulse. Officers removed the subject from the vehicle and began life saving efforts. San Luis Ambulance arrived on scene and lifesaving efforts were turned over to them. Despite their attempts, the male was pronounced deceased on scene.
The driver was identified as a 52-year-old resident of Arroyo Grande.
