At-Risk Missing Person Located in Ukiah 
On 4/22/24 at 11:00 AM, 67-year-old Steven Allen was reported as a missing person from a skilled nursing facility in Petaluma. Allen was using both a cane and walker to walk and one of his arms was injured and in a sling.
Officers issued a “Beyond the Lookout” to neighboring law enforcement agencies and non-government missing person organizations. Throughout the investigation it was believed Allen had left the facility voluntarily and was possibly attempting to return to Ukiah. Officers worked closely with agencies in Mendocino County and confirmed through surveillance footage on 4/25/24 that Allen had entered a business in Ukiah.
On 4/27/24, Officers of the Ukiah Police Department located Allen and determined him to be in good health and not in need of assistance.
The Petaluma Police Department received several tips and possible sightings of Allen since he was reported missing. We would like to thank the Ukiah Police Department and the Petaluma community for their efforts in assisting us locate Mr. Allen.
