* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 656 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Columbus, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Baxter Springs, Columbus, Cherokee, Weir, Lowell, Scammon, West Mineral, Treece, Roseland, Neutral, Melrose, Riverton, Carona, Skidmore, Hallowell, Sherwin, Faulkner, Stippville, and Crestline.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CHEROKEE, KS
