Flood Warning until 07:26AM Friday

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Kansas... Neosho River at Oswego affecting Cherokee and Labette Counties.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neosho River at Oswego.

* WHEN...Until Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, The roads around the water pumping plant and the river gage site floods. Expect field and cropland flooding near the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 19.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday afternoon. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CHEROKEE, KS ... LABETTE, KS

Instructions:

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.
