An infrastructure project that was initially scheduled to begin last fall, will commence on Monday May 6, 2024 on Piermont Road.  A new water main will be installed beginning at the intersection of Piermont Road and Broadway.  Construction will proceed in a northbound direction into the Borough of Rockleigh.   Traffic will be detoured up Broadway to Livingston Street to Paris Avenue to the intersection with Piermont Road.  Officers will be on scene to assist motorists.   We will periodically update the exact location of the construction to make it easier for residents, their guests and delivery service employees affected by the detour to navigate through the work zone.  Additional information will be provided later this week.
