Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help identifying the below-pictured suspect, who stole a victim’s purse from her vehicle on April 25, 2024.
The burglary into auto incident occurred at approximately 4:20 p.m. after the victim parked her vehicle at New York Avenue and New Jersey Railroad Avenue. The suspect, captured on surveillance video, entered the vehicle and removed the purse containing several items, including credit cards that he used at Wendy’s in the 100 block of West Market Street
