Flood Watch until 09:00AM Wednesday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following counties, Bourbon, Cherokee and Crawford and Missouri, including the following counties, Barton, Jasper, McDonald, Newton and Vernon.

* WHEN...From 9 PM CDT this evening through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Many of the area creeks and rivers are already in flood and additional heavy rain will add to the flooding problems.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A thunderstorm complex will push into the area tonight adding an additional quarter inch to inch of rain on already flooded areas. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
