* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 7 inches at lower elevations, between 7 and 13 inches at pass level, and higher amounts at higher elevations.
* WHERE...Little Belt and Highwood Mountains.
* WHEN...From 6 AM Wednesday to 6 PM MDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible and tire chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure they have appropriate knowledge and gear and may want to consider alternate plans. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The worst roadway impacts will occur during the overnight and morning hours. The heavy wet snow may cause isolated power outages.
* AFFECTED AREAS: LITTLE BELT AND HIGHWOOD MOUNTAINS
