On May 1, 2024, at approximately 11:00 a.m., FPD officers were dispatched to the report of a battery in the area of Kato Road and Warren Avenue. Officers arrived on scene and found an injured person. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Officers remained on scene to begin searching for the suspect. The suspect was taken into custody at approximately 1:00 p.m. The area is now clear of police activity.
