This is an update to the River St and Ann St Reconstruction and Water Main Replacement project.  

Beginning Monday, May 6^th at 7:00 am the contractor will begin MILLING and PAVING work. 

The tentative, weather permitting schedule is as follows:
Monday 5/6- milling from Main Street to Baker Street, both directions
Tuesday 5/7 - milling from Baker Street to Parish Avenue, both directions
Wednesday 5/8 – milling at all intersecting streets, plus Ann Street, both sides
Thursday and Friday 5/9 & 5/10 – paving 2 ½” binder asphalt layer, all areas
Monday thru Wednesday – 5/13 thru 5/ 15 paving 1 ½” top asphalt layer, all areas
 
Please avoid these areas if at all possible. SEEK ALTERNATE ROUTES and EXPECT LONG DELAYS.  Flaggers and one lane traffic will be in place in the work zones.   Temporary signage, lights and barricades will be in place.  Please exercise extreme caution and obey all flaggers, signs and barriers at all times.

The City will issue periodic project updates or changes via Nixle PSA as needed.
