OWI-4th Offense 
On 05-01-24 at 1:50 am Janesville Police Department Officers were sent to Kwik Trip on W. Court Street for 2 people sleeping in a vehicle. Upon arrival officers observed Dennis Hayes in the driver seat with the keys in the ignition, and a female in the passenger seat. Further investigation showed Hayes had operated the vehicle on a public street as well as in the parking lot of Kwip Trip.
Hayes showed signs of impairment, failed field sobriety tests and was arrested.
A Department of Transportation Driver’s License check revealed he had 3 prior OWI convictions.
He submitted to a chemical test of his blood and the results are pending.
He was held at the Rock County Jail for court.
