* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following counties, Grimes, Liberty, Madison, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity and Walker.

* WHEN...Until noon CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. Local media have reported water rescues.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 454 AM CDT, emergency management reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen this morning. This is in addition to Thursday morning's rainfall. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
