Summer recreation announced; MVC mobile unit reminder; Arts & Music Festival May 19; Learn more about historic preservation
Register for summer programs
This July the Recreation Division will offer clinics for both youth and adult residents.
Enjoy baseball and softball clinics for ages 6 to 12; gymnastic classes for ages 5 to 12; instructional basketball for students entering 3rd to 8th grades, and a weekly cheer camp for ages 5 to 16.
Adults can enjoy basketball, volleyball, and pickleball programs, too!
Registration opens for youth programs on May 8 at 5 pm and for adult programs on June 3 at 5 pm at Hoboken.RecDesk.com.

NJ MVC Mobile Unit reminder
The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Mobile Unit will be in Hoboken on Thursday, May 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fox Hill Gardens. The mobile unit will be on Willow Avenue between 12th and 13th Streets. Registration is required, and appointments are limited.

Hoboken Spring Arts & Music Festival returns May 19
The Hoboken Spring Arts & Music Festival is on Sunday, May 19, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Washington Street between Observer Highway and Seventh Street.
The free festival features displays and sales by over 250 artists, crafters, food vendors, and local businesses.
There will also be two stages of live musical performances located on Washington Street between Newark Street and Observer Highway and on Washington Street between Sixth Street and Seventh Street.

Learn more about historic preservation
The Hoboken Historic Preservation Commission invites local community members to learn more about the importance of historic preservation on Monday, May 20, at 6 p.m. at the Hoboken Public Library, 500 Park Avenue.
The commission's information session will include local and national guidelines on historic preservation as well as practical guidance for homeowners.

Hydration Station Program seeks participating businesses
The Hoboken Green Team seeks local businesses to join the Hydration Station program. The program lets community members refill their water bottles for free at participating businesses to reduce single use plastics.
Join the program by signing up to host a Hoboken Hydration Station at your establishment by completing the Hoboken Hydration Station Sign Up Form.
A Green Team member will be in touch to guide you through the process and provide you with a Hoboken Hydration Station sticker for your window to mark your participation in the program.
