Deputy Investigates Alarm at Walgreen's and Arrests Two Suspects for Burglary

LOCATION: 20250 State Highway 18, Apple Valley
VICTIM(S): Walgreen’s
SUSPECT(S): Joshua Wayne Stonerock, 40-year-old male of Apple Valley
Alyson Noell Walter, 32-year-old female of Apple Valley
SUMMARY:
Deputies from the Apple Valley Police Department responded to an audible alarm at Walgreen’s on Highway 18 early Friday morning after San Bernardino Sheriff’s Dispatch was notified of the alarm.
Deputy B. Almazan arrived to find the alarm sounding and two subjects hiding outside the rear of the business. Deputy Almazan investigated and found copper pipes from the business, methamphetamine, heroin, and a stun gun in the possession of the two subjects, identified as Joshua Wayne Stonebrook and Alyson Noell Walter.
Both subjects were arrested and transported to the High Desert Detention Center for housing. Stonebrook was booked for possession of a controlled substance for sales, burglary, and felon in possession of a stun gun. Stonebrook is being held in lieu of $40,000 bail. Walter was booked on a burglary charge and is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail.
