Two Suspects Arrested for Assaulting Employee in Rancho Cucamonga




DATE/TIME: May 2, 2024/11:48 A.M.

INCIDENT: Assault with a Deadly Weapon

LOCATION: 8837 Block of Grove Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga

SUSPECT(S): Samuel Steele, Age 27, Resident of Norwalk
Breeana Aguirre, Age 29, Resident of Rancho Cucamonga

VICTIM(S): Confidential


SUMMARY: 
On Thursday, May 2, 2024, at approximately 11:48 A.M., Rancho Cucamonga deputies responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at an apartment complex in Rancho Cucamonga. Two suspects, later identified as Samuel Steele and Breeana Aguirre, assaulted an employee with a four-inch sharp object after being confronted for sleeping on the property. 

After the assault, Steele and Aguirre fled the location on foot. Deputies located Steele and Aguirre walking along nearby railroad tracks and took them into custody after a brief foot pursuit. 

Stelle and Aguirre were transported to the West Valey Detention Center and booked on charges PC 245 (A)(1)- Assault with a Deadly Weapon and PC 594 (B) (1)- Vandalism. Both remain in custody at the West Valley Detention Center with bail set at $40,000.
