Two Rancho Cucamonga Teens Arrested After Witnesses Observed Them Running from a Burning Building

SUMMARY:
On Friday, May 3, 2024, at approximately 2:20 P.M., Rancho Cucamonga deputies responded to the report of a structure fire at Red Hill Community Park. The reporting party saw two juveniles fleeing a structure as the fire started and was able to provide dispatch with a description of the juveniles. The juveniles fled on foot to a nearby restaurant.
Deputies arrived and located the juveniles inside the nearby restaurant. The juveniles were detained and possessed property stolen from the structure. The juveniles were identified as the subjects seen fleeing the burning structure.
The juveniles were transported to San Bernardino Juvenile Hall and booked on charges PC 459- Burglary and PC 451 (c)- Arson.
