Officers were advised of Alfonso Jarrett having an outstanding warrant through Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department for Attempt 1st-Degree Intentional Homicide and a Felony Probation Warrant that were issued on 04/22/24.
 
Officers checked multiple addresses and conducted surveillance throughout multiple days. Officers were able to gather information on Jarrett's whereabouts.
 
On 05/04/24 at approximately 2:47 AM, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle near the intersection of E Racine St and S Main St. Alfonso was a passenger in the vehicle and was taken into custody without incident.
 
In addition to the warrants, Alfonso was arrested for Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a search of his person.
 
Jarrett was turned over to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department on the outstanding warrant.
