Full Notification

On 5/4/24 at approximately 2am, Sheboygan Police Officers and Sheboygan Fire Department paramedics were dispatched to the area of 1300 N 14^th St in the City of Sheboygan for an individual suffering from a gunshot wound. The suspect, a 19-year-old Sheboygan male, contacted dispatch and told them that he had just shot his friend. The victim, also a 19-year-old Sheboygan male, was transported to an Appleton area hospital for treatment of critical, but non-life threatening injuries. The suspect is in custody and is being referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office on charges of 1^st degree recklessly endangering safety. Both the victim and the suspect were intoxicated and are known to each other. There is no threat to the public at this time.
