Dear WAU Community, Board of Trustees and Friends,

Please be advised that due to the continued inclement weather, the decision has been made to relocate the Commencement ceremony from the WAU Commons to Sligo Church located at 7700 Carroll Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912.

As a result please be mindful of the following:

• Graduates are still expected to arrive at 8:00 AMand assemble in the Sligo sanctuary for their class picture at 8:30 AM. Once the photo has been taken you will proceed to the Sligo Youth Chapel in the basement of Sligo to check in with the registrar.

• Faculty will assemble by 9:00 AM in Sligo on the third floor in the Primary 2 classroom.

Based on the fact that the Commencement will now take place in the sanctuary we are asking that everyone be mindful of the following:

• Noise Makers, Balloons, and Confetti are NOT ALLOWED in the sanctuary.
• While we know that this is a joyous occasion, we ask that you please refrain from excessive, loud or extensive cheering or any behaviorthat is not in keeping with the decorum befitting the sanctuary.
• Reserved seating will be released 15 minutes before the ceremony begins.
