Cass County Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports that on 05/04/2024 at approximately 2118 hours his Office was called to investigate a personal injury crash near the intersection of US-12 and Robbins Lake Rd in Porter Township.

Investigation shows that 36-year-old Three Rivers resident, Joshua Leszczewski was negotiating a curve when he crossed the center line of the roadway. Mr. Leszczewski then collided with a second vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle was 45-year-old Edwardsburg resident, Kristin Levan.  EMS transported her to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Seat-belts were worn by all involved parties. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor. Assisting in this crash was Newberg Fire and Edwardsburg Ambulance.
