1. Weapon Arrest (1800) Hammer Lane and Mariners Drive, Lakeview District
Officers conducted an enforcement stop near the listed location, and during a search of the vehicle, they located a loaded handgun. The two occupants were arrested without incident. ARRESTED: Melvin McCoy, 23, and Jailin Young, 21, for weapons charges.
2. Pursuit Arrest (2338) Country Club Boulevard and Fraser Avenue, Civic Center District
Officers attempted an enforcement stop at the listed location, and the driver failed to yield, leading to a pursuit. The suspect lost control of the vehicle and collided with a tree. He was taken into custody without further incident. ARRESTED: Yimi Mendoza, 20, for traffic charges.
3. Homicide (0333) Park Street and Sierra Nevada Street, Park District
Officers responded to a report of a person shot and found the male victim, 25, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim succumbed to his injuries, and Detectives responded to continue the investigation.
