5/04 - 9:45 p.m. - Police were called to the Millstadt Village Park for a report of a subject that had damaged a tree. Upon investigating it was discovered the tree was on the property of the Millstadt Primary Center, 105 West Parkview, and was property of the school district. A subject on scene was taken into custody. On May 6th, upon submitting the report to the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office, Klayton M. Skaer, 26 of Millstadt, was charged with one count of Criminal Damage to Government Supported Property; A Class 4 Criminal Felony, Category B Offense.
