On 5/6/2024 at approximately 8:00 AM a first-grade student was walking to school in the 300 block of Lincoln Street when the student was approached by a person in a red colored two-door vehicle. The person claimed to know the student’s mother. The student challenged the legitimacy of the person knowing the student’s mother and ran to Wilson Elementary School.
The student believed the person was a male and was not able to provide any further details on the description of the person, or the vehicle.
This investigation is ongoing in an attempt to identify the person in the vehicle.
