The City-Wide Emergency Storm Shelters will be open at the Tonkawa Elementary School (501 N. Public Street) at approximately 4pm, today. Anyone in need of shelter can come early. The Safe Shelter at the Tonkawa High School will remain locked until there is no longer room at the Elementary School. Alerts will be sent to notify the opening of the overflow shelter at Tonkawa High School, if needed.
School Shelter Rules: No Pets- No Exceptions, No alcohol, No tobacco products. Police Officers will be on site.
