 Missing Person Search Rail Road Flat
 
As of May 6, 2024 3:30 PM the search efforts for Ione McKay is still ongoing.  We are coordinating with the State Office of Emergency Services and allied agencies requesting additional search and rescue personnel from the region.  The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office is requesting that persons in the Rail Road Flat area check their immediate property and outbuildings.   
 
The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Volunteer Search and Rescue Team and deputies have been dispatched to a report of a missing person in the 400 Block of Ridge Road Flat Road in Rail Road Flat.
 
The missing female’s name is Ione. She is approximately 75 years old, 5 feet tall, weighs 120 pounds, and has white and black hair. Ione was last seen wearing a gray hat, white/blue checkered jacket, and blue jeans. She left her residence on foot in an unknown direction of travel shortly after 9:00 am on 05-06-24.
