Hazleton woman arrested on Battery charge. 
On May 6, 2024, at 7:27 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received 911 report of a battery that had occurred in the area of Steelman Road near Hazleton. Upon arriving in the area they spoke with the victim, and observed obvious signs of a battery. After speaking with the victim they went to a residence on John Ford Road and spoke with the suspect 61 year old Lisa Hartley of rural Hazleton. After taking a statement from Ms. Hartley and observing evidence at the scene they placed Ms. Hartley into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Domestic Battery in the Presence of a Child.

Assisting Officers: Sgt. Loren Barchett, Deputy Logan Lashbrook, and Deputy Shawn Holmes.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
