On May 6, 2024, at 9:22 p.m. Deputy Logan Lashbrook conducted a traffic stop on a White 2016 Nissan Altima after observing the driver of the vehicle failing to maintain their lane of travel on West Broadway in Princeton. Upon initiating a traffic stop in the Fuelmart Gas Station located at 1100 West Broadway Street Deputy Lashbrook identified the driver as 49 year old Vicki Stephens of Princeton.  While speaking with Ms. Stephens Deputy Lashbrook detected clues that there may be illegal drugs inside the vehicle.  At that point Deputy Lashbrook began a roadside drug investigation where Methamphetamines and Drug Paraphernalia were discovered.  At the conclusion of his investigation he placed Ms. Stephens into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Possession of Methamphetamines and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 
 
Assisting Deputy Lashbrook in his investigation was Deputy Shawn Holmes and Princeton Officer David Jones.
