INCIDENT: P.C. 664/187 Attempted Murder, P.C. 273.5(A) Corporal Injury to a Spouse, P.C. 273A(A) Child Endangerment, P.C. Felon in Possession of a Firearm, P.C. 30305(A)(1) Felon in Possession of Ammunition, P.C. 23900 Altering a Firearm’s Identification Information
LOCATION: 15300 block of La Paz Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Christopher Bulger, 31-year-old Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Sunday, May 6, 2024, at approximately 11:18 p.m. deputies from the Victorville Station were dispatched to Days Inn in the 15300 block of La Paz Drive. Upon arrival deputies located a 33-year-old female victim with a gunshot wound to the neck. Deputies located an additional victim, a 10-year-old juvenile also with a gunshot wound.
Both victims were transported to a trauma center for treatment. Christopher Bulger, husband, and father of the victims was located in the area. During the investigation it was discovered, Bulger and the female victim had an argument. As a result, the female victim was shot in the neck, the bullet traveled through the victim’s body and exited through her abdomen. The bullet continued to travel and struck the 10-year-old juvenile in the stomach as he stood in the area.
Bulger was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for P.C. 664/187 – Attempted Murder, P.C. 273.5(A) – Corporal Injury to a Spouse, P.C. 273A(A) – Child Endangerment, P.C. 29800 – Felon in Possession of a Firearm, P.C. 30305(A)(1) – Felon in Possession of Ammunition, P.C. 23900 – Altering a Firearm’s Identification Information.
