Motorist Alert for Greenwood Lake Turnpike and Lakeside Road. Please be advised that construction for the Intersection Improvements for Union Valley Road, Greenwood Lake Turnpike, Lakeside Road & Stainsby Road project is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, May 13th. The project includes various site work improvements including sidewalks, curbing, traffic signals and pedestrian crosswalks. The availability of materials will delay some items of construction from being completed initially, and as a result initial construction is anticipated to continue into July with a second phase beginning later in the construction season. Additional notice will be provided as needed. Road users should anticipate delays, traffic disruptions and impacts to the construction area during the project.
