On Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 4:27 p.m., Santa Ana Police Department Communications received a call from a female who reported that her boyfriend stabbed her and her uncle. Officers responded to a business unit in the 1200 block of E. Chestnut Avenue and located a female adult and two male adults suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to their upper torso. Orange County Fire Authority arrived and pronounced the female and one of the males deceased. The surviving male was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
UPDATE-
After an extensive investigation, SAPD Homicide Detectives believe this incident was a murder-suicide. The suspect, who suffered from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital on May 5, 2024. Inside the business unit, officers located and recovered a firearm and edged weapons related to the crime.
The Orange County Coroner’s Office identified the female victim as Jordan Block (25) and the male victim as Brian Xan Martin (64), both from Santa Ana. The suspect was identified as Cameron Delani Clark (25) also from Santa Ana.
