National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for portions of Cheatham County to include Ashland City, Pleasant View and Joelton until 11AM this morning.  At 7:51AM, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms.  Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in low-lying and poor drainage areas in the advisory area.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.  Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
