Activity for May 2, 2024:
- Officer Simon was dispatched to the 1200 block of South Jackson Street for a domestic dispute. A 35-year-old male was arrested for malicious destruction of property over $1,000 and conditional bond violation.
- Officer Bean responded to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of North Bowen Street. A 42-year-old female was arrested for felonious assault.
- Officer Bean was dispatched to Ganson Street and North Wisner Street for a found firearm. The investigation is ongoing.
- Officers responded to the 1200 block of Laurel Lane for a personal welfare check. A 35-year-old female was transported to the hospital. She was later lodged at JSO on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Simon was dispatched to the Courthouse for a warrant pick-up. A 21-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Goings and Officer Hogan visited with students at Hunt Elementary.
- Officer Tripp responded to the 300 block of Steward Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 43-year-old male was arrested for trespassing, and resisting and obstructing.
- Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop near Maple Avenue and Rockwell Street. All three occupants fled from the vehicle. Charges will be sought on an 18-year-old male, a 16-year-old male, and a 14-year-old female for curfew violation, and resisting and obstructing.
- Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of South West Avenue for a personal welfare check. A 46-year-old male was arrested on several outstanding misdemeanor warrants, and a felony warrant.
- Officer Tripp made contact with a subject in the 800 block of Winifred Street. A 26-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
